NucleoGenix is a forensic services company that provides scientific, investigative, and trial consulting services to clients worldwide. NucleoGenix was founded by Dean A. Wideman, a certified forensic consultant, certified medical investigator, bloodstain pattern analyst, forensic DNA consultant, crime scene analyst, and criminal profiler.  At NucleoGenix, we pride ourselves on our quality, efficiency, and professionalism in the forensic, investigative, and trial consulting services that we provide to clients worldwide.  Prior to founding his own company, Mr. Wideman worked in the forensic DNA laboratories at the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office in Houston, Texas and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in New York City which provided him the opportunity to work and consult on violent and sexual crime cases as a forensic DNA analyst and also as a criminal profiler, crime scene analysis and reconstruction expert, and/or bloodstain pattern analyst.

During his career, both in the public and private sectors, Mr. Wideman has worked on over one thousand criminal cases as a forensic scientist, investigative consultant, trial consultant, and/or expert witness.  He has been a forensic, investigative, and/or trial consultant on violent and sexual crimes, both civilian and military cases, in 31 U.S. states and abroad including Aruba, Bahamas, England, Germany, Guam, Iceland, Iraq, Puerto Rico, Saipan, South Korea, Turkey, and the Virgin Islands in the areas of forensic serology, forensic DNA analysis, bloodstain pattern analysis, crime scene investigation, criminal profiling, and crime scene analysis.
